A detailed monitoring plan is a data collection plan for checking whether the safe management measures processes are established. It lists the measures established, how each measure will be checked,and who will check the measures. It sets the stage for the response plan.
The response plan establishes a trigger level or action for each measure in the detailed monitoring plan. When the process performance goes beyond a trigger level or action required, the response plan details the actions required; who take the action and how the action is resolved in a timely manner
